About Lexarna

The drafting and research desk built for Indian litigation.

Why we exist

Indian advocates spend hours in case-law databases, scrolling through results that match their words but not their question, cross-checking statutes by hand, and hoping they have not missed a binding precedent. The move from the IPC to the BNS has made that harder.

Lexarna was built to fix this. It understands what you are asking rather than matching keywords, shows the source for every answer, and marks which law applies to the date of the offence.

What we believe

India-first

Built for Indian law from the start: the BNS and the IPC, the Supreme Court and all 25 High Courts, and the tribunals you appear before. Not a foreign tool with Indian examples.

Sources, not guesses

Every answer shows the judgments and documents it draws on and marks which law applies to the date, so you can check it before you rely on it.

Your data is yours

Documents stay in your organisation's workspace, encrypted at rest and hosted in Mumbai. We don't train AI models on your content, and our AI providers don't use it to train theirs.

Built for practitioners

Designed with working advocates for speed, accuracy and output that holds up in court.

Nothing hidden

Every quoted passage, every citation and every credit used can be traced.

Pay for what you use

Credits rather than locked features. Up to half of your monthly allowance carries over on paid plans, and extra credit packs mean a busy month never stops your work.

What Lexarna does

Lexarna is a workspace, not a search bar. Every case is a matter with its own documents, research, drafts, hearings and team, and these four parts work together:

Research

Ask in plain words across the Supreme Court, all 25 High Courts and your own documents. Answers cite their sources and apply the BNS or the IPC according to the date.

Drafting

112 templates across pleadings, applications, contracts, notices and regulatory filings, drafted from the facts of the matter and the authorities you found.

Case analysis

Lexarna reads every document in a matter, sets out the parties and timeline, flags contradictions and writes a short note on the case.

Hearing prep

Hearings and limitation dates kept with the matter, with notes and takeaways from each session, so you walk into court prepared.

Coverage at a glance

  • 60 lakh+ judgments

    Supreme Court and High Courts

  • 10,800+ Acts

    section by section

  • 8,300+ regulatory documents

SEBI, RBI, IBBI, ITAT and GST Council

  • BNS and IPC

applied by the date of the offence

Lexarna covers both the BNS and BNSS and the earlier IPC and CrPC. Sources are marked by era, so you do not cite a repealed provision in current proceedings by mistake.

How we charge

Lexarna runs on credits. A quick question uses fewer; a deeper analysis of a multi-issue matter uses more. Individual plans are a flat monthly price, and team plans are priced per seat. Up to half of your monthly allowance carries over on paid plans, and extra credit packs are there for a busy month. See pricing for current prices.

The team

Lexarna is a small team of engineers and lawyers who want Indian legal work to be faster and more reliable. We build our own search, our own quality testing and our own interface.
